- Andhra Pradesh : The fourth largest economy in India accounts for the highest number of pharmaceuticals exports in the country. The agricultural GSDP has been growing at a faster rate than most states and the services sector has an annual 8% growth.
- Assam : The state's industrial sector is dominated by oil, natural gas and tea. Judicious investment in infrastructure and industry is required for higher trajectory of growth.
